Abstract
Most of pregnant women were reluctant to take medicines during pregnancy because drugs are known as a major cause of unintended adverse outcomes for fetus. In addition, pregnant women who took medicines during pregnancy come to clinic to counsel about termination of pregnancy. However, most of the drugs only have 1~3% of teratogenic risk and several drugs have 20~30% of human teratogen effects. Any unnecessary drug should not be given to pregnant women during first trimester of pregnancy but when necessary, some medications cannot be withheld.
